Kaarin Hanzlian is a licensed mental health counselor associate and the owner of Maitri Counseling for the Evolving Soul in Port Townsend. She earned a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology; emphasis in Professional Clinical Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy and Depth Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute in Santa Barbara, California. Her post-graduate work included a Certificate in Interpersonal Neurobiology from Portland State University’s Graduate School of Education, as well as a Certificate in Gerontology from the University of Washington. Prior to this, she obtained a Bachelor of Liberal Arts, with an emphasis in Integrated Psychology: Mind and Body Well Being from Antioch University Seattle.
Kaarin recognizes the quality care and support that is beckoning within the aging community, which includes aging with unconditional acceptance, support and guidance for aging families and compassionate care for caregivers.
