NAMI Jefferson County (National Alliance on Mental Illness)

NAMI Jefferson County (NAMI JeffCo) is a nonprofit affiliate of the National Alliance on Mental Illness. Since 2005 our mission has been to empower families and individuals living with mental illness to better understand and cope with the special challenges posed by this kind of illness. We offer free self-help support groups, provide free education and training, create awareness of issues related to mental illness and work to reduce the stigma associated with mental illness through free public events. We advocate for change and improved services for those living with mental illness and their family members, care givers and support persons. To find other NAMI affiliates go to NAMI.org.
