Habitat for Humanity of East Jefferson County

Seeking to put God's love into action, Habitat for Humanity of East Jefferson County brings people together to build homes, communities and hope. Our vision is a community where everyone has a decent place to live.

Habitat builds and repairs homes in partnership with people in need by offering a hand up rather than a handout. Community volunteers work side by side with neighbors to build and repair houses. Habitat homeowners pay back the cost of their housing materials through an affordable, no-profit mortgage. Their mortgage payments, together with donations from the public, and earnings from two second-hand furniture stores, build and repair more houses.

The Habitat for Humanity Stores in Port Townsend and Quilcene raise funds to build and repair homes for families in need in East Jefferson County. The Habitat Store in Port Townsend is located at 2001 W. Sims Way and is open Wed - Sat, 10 - 5. The Quilcene Habitat Store hours are now Thurs - Sat, 11-3.

Habitat would not be possible without the donations of time and money from local residents. We welcome volunteers and donors of all levels.
