    Job Description
    Jefferson County Auditor’s Office is seeking a DOL Administrative Clerk, Deputy Auditor.
    Position performs a variety of routine & complex technical & administrative work for the Vehicle/Vessel Licensing Division. 
    Assists citizens in licensing, titling & filing vehicle/vessel documents.  Collects revenues including all sales & use taxes. 
    Verifies all legal documents for compliance of state & federal laws. Insures DOL rules and regulations are adhered to along with County policies and procedures.
    Position has significant public contact requiring effective communication and service to customers while working in partnership with other employees of the Auditor’s Office.

    This union position is full time, 40 hours per week with full benefits including a pension.
    Starting pay typically $16.98/hr (2020 wages).  Full pay range $16.98 - $21.74 (2020 wages).  EOE employer.
