    Event Description:
    Voices for Veterans is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization in the state of Washington. The prime mission is to assist homeless veterans, veterans in need, and their immediate family members, in part through a Stand Down. All of the organizational funding comes from grants and monetary and in-kind donations. There are no paid personnel - only dedicated volunteers. All contributions go directly to the veterans. Stand Downs are held three times annually: In May, Forks, Washington, in July, Port Townsend, and October in Port Angeles. Hot meals are provided: Breakfast and Lunch Connecting veterans with medical/dental screening, screening info for colon and breast cancer, housing information, employment and education, veteran benefits, counseling, legal aid, haircuts, pet supplies, new clothing and more. Improving the damaged lives of our dedicated service members. Free TRANSPORTATION on Clallam and Jefferson Transit buses.
