Studio Art Practice is a lighthearted, mind-expanding afternoon for artists of all levels. Participants age 15 to adult are invited to bring projects -- or begin new ones -- into Max's open studio at Northwind Art School, in Building 306 at Fort Worden. Max Grover, one of the founders of the school, is a longtime teaching artist who believes in building a community of creative people. In the studio, artists learn from one another and find new ways of looking at the world -- "which is kind of the basis for all art," he says. This recurring workshop is also offered on June 8, 15, 22 and 29.
