Olympic Peninsula Small Business Boost is a new grant program facilitated by the Economic Development Councils of Clallam, Grays Harbor, and Jefferson Counties, as well as Peninsula College and Grays Harbor College. This program is offering grants to fund professional legal and/or marketing services and bookkeeping classes to underserved businesses in our counties.
In addition to the small businesses benefitting from this grant, free online bookkeeping classes will also be provided to 20+ students in the counties listed above. If accepted for the training, these students will also receive a monthly stipend and a computer loaded with QuickBooks and MS Office that will be theirs to keep upon completing the training. New certified bookkeepers from this program will then have the opportunity for internships at small businesses that are in need of bookkeeping support, paid for by the grant.
