Northwind Art teaching artist Nonie Gaines will demonstrate the process of repousse’, an ancient method of decorating sheets of metal with intricately tooled designs in relief (raised up from surface). Nonie will be onsite to show visitors her process, discuss her art work and talk more about the classes she teaches at Northwind Art School. This demonstration is a part of the current Northwind Art Teaching Artists Exhibit on view now at Grover Gallery, 236 Taylor Street, gallery open Thurs-Mon, noon-5 pm.
