    Event Description:
    Dove House Advocacy Services will host the Jefferson County Chamber of Commerce Business after Business Mixer in April.
                The mix-and-mingle event is Tuesday, April 9 from 5:30-7 p.m. at Dove House, 1045 10th St. in Port Townsend.

                Through education, advocacy and crisis intervention, Dove House provides services to victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, and general crimes in Jefferson County. The Mixer coincides with April being Sexual Assault Awareness Month.

                A nonprofit organization, Dove House also maintains a 24-hour crisis line and operates a temporary emergency shelter for victims fleeing domestic violence, as well as a transitional housing program for women and families transitioning into independence.
