Come relax with us at 310 Hadlock Bay Road, Port Hadlock, WA 98339. 360-390-4017 www.oldalcoholplant.com Within the last five years, CD Woodbury has transformed himself from journeyman sideman and “the NW’s best kept secret” into an internationally recognized rising star of the Pacific NW blues scene with his work as singer, songwriter, and guitarist for the CD Woodbury Band. CD has performed in Texas Roadhouses and in Stadiums. He has performed for two US Presidents, foreign dignitaries, and Jimi's music for the Hendrix family. He has jammed with jazz legends, international blues stars, and has worked with sidemen to the biggest rock acts. The CD Woodbury Band Released "Sunbanks Live" and the studio album, "Monday Night!". "Monday NIght!" was the Number 1 Washington radio airplay album for over six months in 2013 on the Roots Report, and also appeared in the top 50 international Blues Radio charts, peaking at #8, as well as appearing on other international charts and critics favorites list of 2013. The band has been a finalist for independent recording and a semi-finalist for performance at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis as was given an informal "Kings of Beale Street" title by Jerry Lee Lewis' Cafe and Honky Tonk (the "official" competition lapsed, but the club says "You're the Kings of Beale this year and if anyone has a problem with that, they can come talk to me.") The band has eight Best of the Blues awards from the Washington Blues Society, including the "blues performer" award in 2015 The Band re-formed as a Trio in late 2015 with Don Montana on drums (CDWB, Tim Casey and the Bluescats), and bassist Patrick McDanel (Michele D'Amour and the Love Dealers, Brian Nova); currently performing contemporary blues, roots music, rhythm & blues, jazz, and New Orleans influenced music. The CD Woodbury Trio plays a mixture of new interpretations of old favorites, obscure jems, and original songs. "CD Woodbury has attained an enviable goal for guitarists: A personal, muscular, expressive style with no direct influence. Combined with his exceptional band of songwriters, singers and headcutting instrumentalists, the result is booty-shaking contemporary blues with wit and extraordinary substance." https://southsoundblues.org/cd-woodbury-trio/
