Jefferson Healthcare announces next group 75+ for COVID-19 Vaccine
PORT TOWNSEND, Wash., Jan. 20, 2021 – Jefferson Healthcare announces expanded age band to include Jefferson County residents 75 years old and older for COVID-19 Immunization appointment scheduling beginning Wednesday, January 20 at 10:00 am. Jefferson County residents 75 years old and older or individuals 75 years old and older who have a Jefferson Healthcare primary care provider can schedule easily and quickly on the Jefferson Healthcare COVID-19 Vaccine webpage. No drop-in appointments are available. Individuals over 75 years old who are unable to access the website can call Jefferson County Emergency Management at 360.344.9791, where volunteers are available to schedule appointments Monday through Friday from 9 am to 4 pm.
The website continues to serve as the most up to date information in an environment where factors are changing daily. Community members are encouraged to help qualifying neighbors, friends and family members schedule immunization appointments through the online scheduling app, this is the easiest and timeliest method.
Jefferson Healthcare is administering the Pfizer vaccine, which requires two doses, not to be given sooner than 17 days apart. All immunization will occur by appointment only at the Jefferson Healthcare Drive-Thru Immunization Clinic located on 7th & Cleveland Street behind the Manresa Castle. Those with appointments are encouraged to arrive no more than 5 minutes before scheduled appointment to minimize congestion around the Immunization Clinic and hospital.
Anyone receiving the vaccination at Jefferson Healthcare needs to bring the following to both the first and second dose appointment:
- 1B provide a state issued id that shows your age and residence in Jefferson County
- 1A provide state issued id, employee badge or healthcare employment identifier.
- Insurance information, if applicable
- Completed Patient Acknowledgment form
